The Alliance Leadership Group, an Arlington, VA, firm, was founded to help companies improve their profits by leveraging alliances with other individuals and teams who, together, can create amazing synergy.

Tony Watson, who brings a diverse professional background to the company, founded ALG. Having grown up in the public housing community of Cabrini-Green in inner-city Chicago, he went on to a career as an officer in the U.S. Navy, and was the first African-American to achieve the rank of Rear Admiral in the Navy's Nuclear Submarine Force. He was Commanding Officer of the nuclear submarine USS Jacksonville (SSN 699), and commanded a squadron of submarines in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Following retirement, he headed two search firms and was CEO of QualxServ Government Solutions, LLC, considered one of the premier IT service solution providers in America. He was selected as the Black Engineer of the Year, Government, in 1988, received the Order of Lincoln Award, the State of Illinois' highest honor, and was awarded the NAACP Roy Wilkins' Meritorious Service Award for public service. He is Co-Chairman of the Black Engineer of the Year Alumni Association, and in partnership with the Chicago Youth Centers, established the Tony Watson/CYC Math and Science Scholarships for inner-city youth in Chicago, providing cash scholarships for college bound students.
